At Fostoria Bushings, we strive to provide fast, reliable shipping and a straightforward return process. This policy outlines processing times, shipping methods, tracking, returns, refunds, and cancellations.

1. Processing Time

Orders are generally processed within 1–2 business days (Monday–Friday, excluding holidays) after payment confirmation.

Orders placed on weekends or holidays begin processing the next business day.

Custom or special-order items may require additional processing time; we will notify you if this applies.

2. Shipping Methods & Carriers

Most orders under weight or size thresholds ship via UPS, FedEx, or USPS.

Oversized or heavy items may ship via common carrier/freight.

For freight deliveries, a dock or forklift-accessible location is preferred. Additional charges may apply for:

Note: These are estimates and start after shipment. Actual delivery may vary due to carrier delays, weather, customs, or other factors.

4. Shipping Costs & Quotes

Shipping costs are calculated at checkout based on size, weight, destination, and shipping method.

Heavy or oversized items requiring freight may receive a separate freight quote.

Partial orders may ship separately if items are available at different times or require different shipping methods.

Free shipping promotions (if offered) will have terms and conditions clearly stated.

5. International Shipping

International shipping is available to selected regions. Contact us for availability, shipping quotes, and customs handling.

Recipients are responsible for customs duties, import taxes, tariffs, or other charges imposed by the destination country.

6. Order Tracking

Once your order ships, you will receive a shipping confirmation email with tracking information.

Use the tracking number to monitor your delivery via the carrier’s website.

7. Receipt Inspection & Shipping Damage Claims

Inspect all shipments for visible damage before accepting delivery.

For freight deliveries requiring a bill of lading:

Inspect goods in the presence of the driver

Note any damage or refuse the shipment if severely damaged

Report damage or missing items within 3 business days (or per carrier requirements).

Damage claims may not be honored after signing for a shipment as “received in good condition.”

Returns & Refund Policy

1. Return Eligibility

Eligible items must be returned within 30 calendar days of delivery.

Items must be unused, in original packaging, complete, and resalable.

Non-returnable items include:

Custom, cut-to-size, or specially manufactured products

Items that have been installed, altered, or show signs of use

2. Return Authorization (RMA)

All returns require pre-approval via our Return Merchandise Authorization (RMA) process.

To request an RMA, provide:

Order number

Item(s) to return

Reason for return

Photos (if relevant, e.g., damage)

Returns without an RMA may be refused.

3. Return Shipping & Costs

Customers are responsible for return shipping, insurance, and handling, unless the return is due to our error.

Original shipping costs are non-refundable.

Freight or oversized item returns must be coordinated in advance; additional fees may apply.

4. Restocking Fees

Some returns may incur a restocking fee (10–25%, depending on item/vendor).

Standard stocked items typically do not incur a restocking fee, unless otherwise noted.

5. Refunds & Credits

After we receive and inspect returned items, we will notify you of approval or rejection.

Approved refunds will be processed to the original payment method within 7–14 business days (or per your bank/card issuer).

Partial refunds or credits may apply if items are damaged or refused.

6. Exchanges

Exchanges are handled like returns:

Return the original item (with RMA)

Place a new order for the replacement item

Exceptions may be arranged with our support team.

7. Cancellations

Orders can be canceled free of charge only if they have not yet shipped.

Once shipped, orders must follow the return process, and customers are responsible for return shipping.

8. Additional Notes & Disclaimers

Prices, availability, and shipping rates may change without notice.

We may refuse returns or exchanges that do not comply with these conditions.

In case of discrepancies or damage, we will coordinate with the carrier, but your cooperation may be required (retaining packaging, photos, etc.).

This policy does not override applicable consumer protection laws in your jurisdiction.
