Product: Transformer Bushing Assembly
Application: Liquid-Filled Transformers

1. Electrical Ratings

  • Ratings are based on use in liquid-filled transformers, with the lower end of the bushing submerged below the oil level.

2. Construction

  • Insulator Material: High-quality electrical-grade wet-process porcelain.
  • Finish: Standard gray glaze, unless otherwise specified.
  • Mounting Hole Diameter: 3.38 in (85.9 mm) minimum.
  • Anti-Rotation Design: The bushing is keyed to the two-piece clamp, and the connector is keyed to the porcelain insulator to prevent rotation.

3. Gasket Options

  • Standard: Nitrile (Buna-N)
  • Optional: Cork and rubber composite (add suffix “C” to the part number when ordering).

4. Terminal (Spade) Assembly

  • Standard Material: 95% minimum conductivity copper
  • Finish: Tin-plated for corrosion resistance and reliable electrical contact.
  • Optional Materials: Lower conductivity copper alloys (e.g., brass, bronze) available upon request at discounted pricing.

5. Design Features

Provides mechanical stability, rotational alignment, and long-term electrical reliability.

Designed for externally clamped mounting in transformer applications.
