Application: Liquid-Filled Transformers

1. Electrical Ratings

• Electrical ratings are based on use in liquid-filled transformers, with the lower end of the bushing submerged below the oil level.

2. Construction

• Insulator Material: High-quality electrical-grade wet-process porcelain.
• Finish: Standard gray glaze, unless otherwise specified.

3. Gaskets

• Standard Gasket: Nitrile (Buna-N)
• Optional Gasket: Cork and rubber composite
  • To specify this option, add suffix “C” to the part number when ordering

4. Terminal / Spade Assembly

• Material: Spade made of bus-bar copper brazed to a copper alloy base.
• Finish: Electro tin-plated for corrosion resistance and reliable electrical contact.
• Optional Terminals: Bushing can be furnished upon request with different types of top and bottom terminals to suit application requirements.

5. Design Features

Provides mechanical stability, rotational alignment, and long-term electrical reliability.
