Technical Specification

1. Application

These bushings are designed for transformer, switchgear, entrance, and other special power apparatus applications.

2. Electrical Ratings

The electrical ratings are based on use in a liquid-filled transformer, with the lower end of the bushing positioned below the oil level

3. Construction

• Porcelain: Manufactured from high-quality electrical-grade wet-process porcelain.
• Finish: Gray glaze applied over the entire surface, unless otherwise specified.
• Design: Top skirts are engineered for outdoor applications.
• Sealing: Bushings are fully oil- and watertight at both the top terminal and the mounting flange.

4. Mechanical Components

• Flanges and Washers: Made from non-magnetic materials to prevent interference and corrosion.
• Disc Spring Assembly: Provides constant gasket pressure at the top terminal, compensating for thermal expansion and contraction of the copper stud.

5. Gaskets

• Standard Gasket: Nitrile (Buna-N).
• Optional Gasket: Cork-rubber composition — for this option, add suffix “C” to the part number when ordering.
