1. Operating Conditions

  • Electrical ratings are based on use in liquid-filled transformers, with the lower end of the bushing submerged below the oil level during operation.
  • Designed for dependable performance in oil-immersed transformer environments under standard service conditions.

2. Construction and Materials

  • Insulating Body: Manufactured from premium electrical-grade wet-process porcelain, providing excellent dielectric strength and mechanical durability.
  • Finish: Standard gray glaze, Munsell 5 BG 7.0/0.4, unless otherwise specified.
  • Mounting Hole Diameter: 3.38 in (85.9 mm) minimum.
  • Mounting Type: Suitable for sidewall or cover mounting applications.

3. Gaskets

  • Standard Material: Nitrile (Buna-N) gasket.
  • Optional Material: Cork and rubber composite gasket available.
    • To specify this option, add suffix “C” to the part number when ordering.

4. Terminal (Spade) Assembly

  • Standard Material: 95% minimum conductivity copper.
  • Finish: Tin plated for corrosion resistance and improved electrical contact.
  • Optional Materials: Lower conductivity copper alloys (e.g., brass, bronze) available upon request at discounted pricing.
