Application: Liquid-Filled Transformers

1. Operating Conditions

  • Electrical ratings are based on use in liquid-filled transformers, with the lower end of the bushing submerged below the oil level.
  • Designed for reliable performance under standard transformer operating conditions.

2. Construction and Materials

  • Insulating Body: Manufactured from premium electrical-grade wet-process porcelain for high dielectric strength and mechanical durability.
  • Finish: Standard gray glaze, unless otherwise specified.
  • Mounting Hole Diameter: 3.38 in (85.9 mm) minimum.

3. Gaskets

  • Standard Material: Nitrile (Buna-N).
  • Optional Material: Cork and rubber composite.
    • To specify this option, add suffix “C” to the part number when ordering.

4. Terminal (Spade) Assembly

  • Standard Material: 95% minimum conductivity copper.
  • Finish: Tin-plated for corrosion resistance and enhanced electrical performance.
  • Optional Materials: Lower-conductivity copper alloys (e.g., brass, bronze) available upon request at discounted pricing.

5. Design Features

Designed for externally clamped mounting in transformer applications.
