Technical Specification

1. General Description

  • Conforms to F.B. Inc.’s standard power bushing design.
  • Electrical ratings are based on use in a liquid-filled transformer, with the lower end of the bushing submerged under oil.

2. Sealing and Insulation

  • Fully oil- and water-tight at both top terminals and mounting flange.
  • Porcelain: High-quality electrical-grade wet-process porcelain, gray glazed over the entire surface.
  • Top Skirts: Designed for outdoor applications.

3. Materials

  • Top Terminal Fittings: High-conductivity copper alloy (CDA No. C83300) castings.
  • Standard Gasket: Nitrile (Buna-N).
  • Tank Gasket Seat Depth: 0.187 in.

4. Optional Features and Ordering

  • Cork-Rubber Gasket Assemblies: Add suffix “C” to the part number.
  • Assembly/Disassembly Instructions: See exploded view on page PB-32.
  • Included Components: Bushing assembly supplied with finger-tightened locking nut and post connector.
