1. Operating Conditions

• Electrical ratings are based on installation in liquid-filled transformers, with the lower end of the bushing positioned below the oil level during normal operation.

2. Construction and Materials

• Insulating Body: Fabricated from high-quality electrical-grade wet-process porcelain for optimal mechanical strength and dielectric performance.
• Finish: Standard gray glaze, unless otherwise specified.
• Anti-Rotation Design:
  • The bushing is keyed to a two-piece clamp.
  • The connector is keyed to the porcelain insulator to prevent rotation during installation and service.

3. Gaskets

• Standard Gasket: Nitrile (Buna-N).
• Optional Gasket: Cork and rubber composite.
  • To specify this option, add suffix “C” to the part number when ordering.

4. Mounting Dimensions

• Designed for installation in a minimum diameter mounting hole of:
  • 2.25 in (Figure 1)
  • 2.69 in (Figure 2)
  • 3.06 in (Figure 3)
• Compatible with standard transformer bushing clamp configurations.

5. Design Features
